Dear friends and colleagues!

We are happy to invite you to participate in the 16th European Rehabilitation and Cultural Week of the Deaf-Blind People.

In 2015 the week will be hosted by Russia and all the events will take place in Moscow and the Moscow region.

Russia is a country with great history and we will be happy to pave you the way to Russian culture and traditions.

You will have a chance to visit the most symbolic places – the Red Square, which is truly the heart of Russia and the historic site for most of the key events in Russia’s past. You will get to know the Moscow Kremlin – the oldest part of Moscow, which also serves as the official residence of the Russian President. You will be able to walk the cozy streets of old Moscow and have a boat trip on the Moscow River to see the major places of interest in the 12-million people city.

A significant part of the week will take place in the Moscow region, which is a small country by itself with 7 million residents and spread of nearly 300 km from east to west. You will see the beautiful towns of the Moscow region with their ancient Orthodox cathedrals and local museums demonstrating the centuries-old arts and crafts, translating the spirit of Russia. You will be able to take part in the show of Russian warriors, in popular festivities and taste honey, honey wine, Russian traditional desserts and many other meals of the Russian multinational cuisine. And much more…

The ERCW will be followed by the Sports Competition of the Deaf-Blind. All those willing to take part in the championship can extend their stay for another week (extra registration fee is required) and add more emotions and pleasant reminiscences to their Russian tour.

The registration fee for the ERCW is 450 euro per person (double room) or 600 euro (single room or single supplement for the double room). The fee includes accommodation, full board, bus transfers and the cultural program.

The registration fee for the Sports Competition will be announced separately.

More detailed information about the registration, forms of payment and the program will be given in our second notice in January.

We will be happy to welcome you in Moscow!
